We are seeking a full-time Quality Improvement Specialist for our Cardiac Service Line at Sentara Heart Hospital.

What you will do:
Position will work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. No weekend or holidays.
Will develop, coordinate, implement, evaluate and maintain quality improvement/assurance initiatives for our cardiac service line.
Be a liaison to other cardiac areas within the health system.
Required Education: RN-Bachelor's Level Degree
Experience:Requires minimum of 2 years recent experience in the related service line. 3 or more years of current experience in QI related activities preferred. Leadership, teaching and QI/PI facilitation skills required. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and accreditation agency standards preferred. Incumbents must possess clinical knowledge related to the specialty or prior quality experience. Must be able to link the clinical effectiveness and clinical informatics arenas.
