University Health System in San Antonio offers comprehensive behavioral and mental health programs and services for adults. We provide care in the hospital and in the outpatient setting. We provide a safe, confidential and supportive atmosphere to address each patient's individual needs.

Our expert team includes adult psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses including nurse practitioners, chemical dependency counselors and therapists who are licensed clinical social workers. We're here to help our patients connect with other community resources as needed.
Through our partnership with UT Health San Antonio, we are training tomorrow's Behavioral Health providers and leaders, including physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, registered nurses and other disciplines. The UT faculty bring the most current knowledge of best practices in adult and child psychiatry to treat your acute behavioral health concerns and help connect you to ongoing care.
Currently we have an opening for an Executive Director for our Psychiatry Department.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Masters degree in Nursing is required.
Must be Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Texas.
National certification is required.
Eight to ten years of experience in nursing with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial position in psychiatry is preferred.
