The IT Desktop Administrator provides high levels of customer service to users of Satellite's desktop operating systems. This position routinely thinks outside the box to solve problems quickly. The IT Desktop Administrator is responsible for repairing computers and performing technical and system diagnostics as necessary.

Set up new computer systems and perform routine maintenance
Repair computer hardware as required
Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary
Maintain computer equipment and software to ensure secure and efficient operations
Test and implement new software programs for the company
Troubleshoot basic networking issues
Support printer setup and printing
Manage shipping and receiving of equipment for the region
Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner
Minimum Education & Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High school diploma
Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a Computer Technician or Desktop Support Specialist
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems
Able to read and understand technical manuals
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
Proactive, takes initiative
Ability to utilize provided company imaging software to image PC/laptops
Working knowledge with anti-virus software
Ability to work as part of team and independently
Ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of networking theory, TCP/IP protocol and IP addressing
Able to travel
Able to read, write, speak, understand and satisfactorily communicate with others in English in person, over the phone and via email
